The Home Office has announced the new UK Visas and Nationality service which will begin on 6th April 2016. The Points Based Calculator will no longer be used to support immigration applications, and will go offline, from 6th April 2016.

UK NARIC Visas and Nationality will be provided by the UK National Recognition Information Centre (UK NARIC) on behalf of the Home Office supporting individuals applying for UK visas or settlement.

Applicants will apply online to UK NARIC for a new ‘official UK NARIC statement’, rather than, as currently, for either a statement of comparability or an English language assessment.

Those submitting an application on or after 6th April 2016, who wish to use an overseas qualification to support their immigration application, will need to obtain a statement from UK NARIC.
